I am sorry to report that we fell short in our effort to earn a second term as 8th Ward Commissioner in Haverford Township. To the extent that I failed to capture many of the voters' hearts I feel I have let my supporters down. I had dedicated volunteers who worked very hard for me and for that I will be forever in their debt. I would like to thank my campaign manager Larry Chrzan who did the best job anyone ever could have in such a race.

Following such a tough race there are likely to be hard feelings but I ask all of my supporters to remember that it is the good of the Township in which we are all interested. For that reason I have offered Chris Connell my time and knowledge in order to make the transition to his term as smooth as possible. I am asking each of you to support him as Commissioner and to cooperate with him when appropriate. Personally, as he is going to be my Commissioner I hope he will be a great one. This town needs great Commissioners as it is a challenging and complicated future we face.

I do not know if, how or when I will get involved in public service again but my love for our Township and my concern for its future will probably lead me into involvement in some way in the future.
